Board of Visitors

CFPCA's Board of Visitors was established in 2000. Members serve as ambassadors and advocates, provide fundraising support and act as liaisons to the community for the college. During WAYNE FIRST, the university’s capital campaign, CFPCA’s board is particularly instrumental in helping the college to achieve its many campaign goals.

Maggie Allesee, '84 '02, serves on the Wayne State Univesity Foundation Board and is a volunteer, philanthropist and community leader.

Jeanne Bieri, '93, is a professional fine artist and co-founder of the Bieri Company, a retail real estate consulting firm.

Arthur Bryant, '71, is chair of the Anthony Wayne Society's board of directors and is a retired Ford Motor Company administrator.

Elizabeth DuMouchelle, '91, is a senior attorney with the law firm Butzel Long.

Jane Fitzgibbon-Dermidoff, '95 '05, is a retired executive with Chrysler Corporation and an instructor in CFPCA's Department of Communication.

David Getto, '64, is a senior partner with the law firm Sommers, Schwartz P.C.

Ron Harwood, '70 is president and founder of Illuminating Concepts.

Howard Hertz, '72 '76, is co-founder of the law firm of Hertz, Schram & Saretsky.

Daniel Kanter is a financial advisor with Kanter Associates.

Emery King is a longtime NBC news anchor and co-founder of Kingberry Productions.

Barbara Kratchman is immediate past president of ArtServe Michigan.

Edward Lapham, '71, is executive editor of Automotive News.

Michael Layne, '76 '80, is founding partner of the public relations firm Marx Layne & Co.

Alan Lichtenstein is director of theatre operations for the Nederlander Company.

Christina Lovio-George, '79, is president and CEO of the public relations firm lovio|george|inc.

Navia McCloud is a vice president in the Commercial Real Estate group at Huntington Bank.

Susan Nine, '62, is chair of CFPCA's BOV, is past chair of the Anthony Wayne Society and is a community activist and advocate for the arts.

Richard Strowger is vice chair of CFPCA's BOV and is a retired partner with Price Waterhouse.

Lisa Vallee-Smith, '84, is co-founder and CEO of Airfoil Public Relations.

Marilyn Wheaton is director of the Marshall M. Frederick Museum at Saginaw Valley State University.

Barbara Whittaker, '77, is executive director of Machinery & Equipment and Indirect Purchasing, General Motors Global Purchasing and Supply Chain.
